Spa in a bottle

Echostore Body Basics Spa in a Bottle

Product Category:
Body oil

Price:
Php130 for a 50ml bottle

Available at:
Echostore

Tester:
Lea, seaman's wife

While going through my things a month ago, I saw Echostore's Body Basics gift pack which I received from a friend and was very intrigued with "spa in a bottle".

The label says it's a great reliever for congestion, stress, nausea, dizziness, and just whenever you feel like taking a momentary spa break. Wow, 5-in-1! And to use, you must spray a small amount on a palm of the hand. Rub oil gently with two hands. Cup hands to the nose and mouth area. Take a deep breath. Easy peasy! And so, I decided to use it right away.

I spritzed a small amount of oil on my palms and its smell is close to a popular vapor rub but on the lighter side. I felt it cleared my nasal passages with the scent of its ingredients VCO, peppermint, orange, musk, and lavender. It was so soothing making me re-apply the oil on my hands every minute. Breathe in, breathe out. It was just relaxing. It was, indeed, a momentary "spa" break.

Oil, which is not at all greasy, can also be rubbed on the nape area and temples of the head. And I did exactly that. I applied oil on my back also. I have also used it as a massage oil. It had a cool but calming effect and it felt very light on the skin. It loosened whatever was tight. It softened whatever was hard. I felt good—both body and mind.

Well some of you may be familiar with Katinko ointment (which can be used as cure for similar ailments as the spa in a botlle) and there are people I know who swear by its effects; but I find the smell of Katinko a bit overwhelming and lola-ish that one cannot hide or deny that he or she is not feeling well. (Ako? May sakit? He he.)

Whenever I feel I'm going to get sick or I'm feeling a bit under the weather, I just rub oil on temples of my head, and I feel ok. When I feel nauseous, I cup my hands with oil into my mouth, and I feel ok. When I feel dizzy, I cup my hands with oil into my nose, and I feel ok.

Before going to bed, I make sure to rub oil, and I feel relieved from whatever tiredness and stress I have, and then I fall asleep.

On any time of the day, this very handy spa in a bottle perks me up when I need to calm down when I'm too stressed or when I need to relax when I'm too tired. It is my go-to product when I want to feel ok. I wish I could have discovered this product sooner. It's a lifesaver. I have to warn you though that the spa in a bottle is addictive! As a matter of fact, I have two bottles—one for home use (placed on the bedside table) and one for mobile use (placed inside my bag). Yes, I have to have it anywhere I go.

And since it's from Echostore, it's made of no harmful chemicals. Sale of product also supports the ECHO Hope fund which supports women's health care. That is "spa"-cial!
